What You Don't Have Time For But Imperative For Success

"I have a dream..." - Martin Luther King, words that have been with me since the day many years ago I listened to his inspiring speech for a better and just world. Words that have lingered, rolled around both in my mind and in my heart. I suspected there was something incredibly powerful in those few words because everything ever great or accomplished truly only started with the vision of one person and the power and craft of words to share it. Words that create emotion, courage and action to change our world and experience of it. Which can be both incredibly positive and equally destructive.

Nikola Tesla said if you want to truly understand the world think of everything as energy, frequency and vibration. The first law of thermodynamics, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy, states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed only transformed.

Scientifically speaking, through the study of quantum physics (in a very simple way) our bodies are energy, our thoughts (visions) and emotions we associate those thoughts with create frequency that cause vibration of atoms in our physical reality. To change our reality we must change the frequency (thoughts) of which we vibrate. 

The study of psychology interweaved into evidence based coaching has many methods like solution focused that involve identifying a desired future state (vision). The vision is broken down into attainable goals and the goals are broken down into a series of small actionable steps. 

What would happen if together we create a compelling and beautiful vision for humanity, aligned our personal visions and contribution to that higher vision (frequency) to change our collective reality (vibration)?

Skeptical? Good. I love skeptical, logical minds and critical thinking. It is where questions, learning, innovation and creativity are born. In your research you may find that the pure possibility of it cannot be refuted. We must DARE to create a better future!

In essence we have great power, often overlooked to not only effect positive change in our own lives but the world at large. This is the importance and power of creating a vision. Without one we have not done the first essential act to creating positive change for ourselves or the world. 

In its simplest form to effect positive change in the world we first must effect positive change within ourselves. If we want peace, balance, harmony, calm, tolerance, justice, love, freedom, whatever that higher vision may include we must first create it within ourselves to bring out into the world. 

Because corporations hold so much influence on the world, leaders must dare to create better and higher visions for themselves, their organizations and humanity. Identify how one relates and interoperates with the other.

Breaking it down further, essential qualities of leaders today are communication and an ability to connect and influence others. A style that extends empathy, compassion, trust, creativity, flexibility, positivity, reliability, adaptability. To excel as a leader and bring about an environment that brings out the best in others we must create these qualities within ourselves first to bring out and extend to others. 

Want to change world? So do I. The process is simple, to change the world (vibration) we must change ourselves by holding a higher vision (frequency) and taking action towards it. The journey of implementation not quite so simple, but doable.
